Chōdenji Machine Voltes V - Stage Seven

Volt Machine 1: Cruiser. I actually got the first draft done sometime 4th week of March 2013, months ahead before posting it in my blog pages. Mesh, with the exception that the landing gears were re-edited, and textures that is. What held me up were details such as battle scars and decals of sorts as well as some of the VFX animations that comes along with it (and working space since my wife and youngest have been using my desk since I was able to assemble a new computer for them). Here are the developments.

Work-in-Progress Desktop Screenshots

Initial Renders. These WIP (Work-in-Progress) render samples only displays Diffuse textures. No specular or normal textures applied nor any lighting is introduced.

Renders. And these are render samples with combination of Diffuse, Specular, and Normal maps applied with lighting. Values of decals, stains, dirt, screens, and all sorts have been tweaked where lighting affects them.

Texture Samples. Series of diffuse, specular, and normal maps used for the Cruiser. These are not of the same scale as the files that I've been working on.

Video Samples. A couple of videos I made. The first one is the Volt Machine 1: Crewzer itself showing all sides, armaments, landing gears, and transformation. The second video is a Plasma Burn test intended for the jet exhaust done is a variety of particle systems, as well as size and speed changes. No shock diamonds as I wanted to initially pull off.
